The Deputy Editor plays a key leadership role in the newsroom, supporting the Editor-in-Chief in
managing editorial operations, guiding the editorial team, and ensuring the publication delivers
accurate, engaging, and high-quality journalism. This role involves overseeing day-to-day
content production, editing major stories, planning coverage, and ensuring editorial standards
are consistently upheld
- Key Responsibilities Editorial Oversight
- Assist the Editor-in-Chief in leading the newsroom and implementing the editorial vision.
- Oversee daily news coverage and ensure timely delivery of content across print and digital platforms.
- Review, rewrite, and approve high-impact stories, headlines, and special features.
- Ensure all content adheres to journalistic ethics, quality standards, and legal guideline
